Wes Penny

Wes lives on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

Wes retired from policing after 25 years and then spent 7 years at the world famous Douglas Lake Ranch where his passion for fly tying and fishing really took off. Wes enjoys the creativity of fly tying and is always looking for new ideas and materials. He currently represents Textreme and Gulff , and has developed some unique resin techniques. Wes focuses on patterns for both stillwater and rivers.
