Brian Ratcliff

My name is Brian Ratcliff and I live in a small village in Devon with my wife and our dog Sherman.

When it comes to my fishing, I try and focus most of it on my local rivers which hold a great head of Brown Trout and a good run of Sea Trout that run when the conditions are right.

As well as my river fishing l love fishing on Stillwaters and Reservoirs.

I started fly fishing at a young age as it’s always been around in our family for as long as I can remember.

I couldn’t say l sit down at the vice and just concentrate on one style or a particular pattern type. For me it’s about everything and anything when it comes to  Fly Fishing and Fly Tying. Sitting down and tying hoping that the next fly pattern off the vice and cast will connect you with a Trout of a lifetime.
