The goal of the new FT5 Bead Catcher is to maximize friction and control, while minimizing the possibility of scratching the bead head surface (especiallypainted ones). The tip should gently hug the contour of the bead and prevent it from rolling or slipping.

Key features of the FT 5 – The Bead Catcher Tweezers

The mechanism selected for the FT5 is a reverse-action locking clamp. This allows the bead head to be held continuously without maintaining pressure with the hand, which is extremely difficult when performing tasks that require finemotor skills. It features a very fine cross or linear micro-engraving (40-80 um) that increases friction without damaging materials.
