Thousands of them are not created. They are not produced by machines. They are manufactured in a family manufactory, which is located in a historic granary in the west of Poland. Each element is invariably created by a person. Hand-measured and matched elements, each time make up a unique pair of scissors. Designed to lie perfectly in the hand. Sharpened to cut accurately for decades.
Renomed is a family-run business established by the spouses Donata Rucińska and Marek Ruciński. The original design of the scissors is the idea of Donata Rucińska, and the unique production process and extraordinary quality was taken care of by Marek. Today the company is co-founded with them by their adult sons.

Since three years I’m a frequent user of the Renomed Braid Cutter. Using it on a weekly base for all my fishing needs. Besides its sharpness , which is still there after three years, its design is just magnificent. It looks cool and I can honestly say it’s the best pair of scissors I have ever used in my life. Braid, nylon and even kevlar is no problem for this beast!

These are really well made, well designed and great looking tools. The scissors cut like a dream, and have been my stable tying scissors since I got them.

I use the Renomed scissors FS1 small and FS3 medium since 4 months now. Both are straight scissors. The small one is just fantastic to use for dry flies, nymph...or if you don’t have a lot of space to work. I use the medium one on bigger flies. Both are very sharp and easy to work with and cut the small things you want. All scissors are sharp, have precision cutting and are quality hand-made. Thank you Renomed for this quality scissors!
