Laura Colangelo

Laura has been an undeniable trout bum since the first rainbow she caught on the fly several years ago. Since then, she has completely immersed herself in everything the sport has to offer; from the bugs to the gear. The passion Laura has for fly fishing has carried over in her tying; tying everything from flies that pay homage to her Jersey Shore roots to the famed flies of the Catskills, where she currently calls home. She believes tying gives her the creative opportunity to mix her knowledge of what fish eat and art; tying creates the chance to come face to face with a beautiful fish- which is priceless. Laura can mostly be found either wade fishing or rowing her drift boat on the Upper Delaware in search of a hungry trout.
